Ten minute bike challenge (part two)

Did the 'how far can you go in ten minutes challenge' again last night! Beat my personal best with an impressive (for me) 6.22km in the ten minutes.

Also got confirmation that I am in the Cotgrave 10k on the 9th of April. This is a small race but one of my favourites very friendly and well organised and in a lovely park.

So two races in two weeks and my training for the White Peak marathon continues, I was looking at water bottle belts at the weekend. I think I will get one as it could be pretty warm come May and I want to give myself the best chance of getting round in one piece. Also need to do some practice runs wearing it so I might get one on Wednesday. Having the afternoon off on Wednesday as I have some flexi time and I don't want to lose it.

Ten minute bike challenge

Gym last night!

A lad at work challenged a few of us to see how far we could cycle on an excercise bike in ten minutes.

Well, I did 5.95km and I can feel it in my legs today!

Tonight is a steady six mile run and the weather is perfect roll on 5.00pm.

Oh and I am off to Wembley on the 7th of May to see Mansfield Town v Darlington in the FA Trophy final, C'MON YOU STAGS!!!

7.3 miles last night

It felt like longer!

I have said this before but sometimes you go out on a run and you feel as though you could run forever and sometimes your legs feel really heavy.

Last night my legs felt heavy!

Rest night tonight and gym tomorrow night, another 7.3 miles Thursday, gym Friday, busy Saturday and a long run Sunday.

Well that’s the plan.

Sunday, 20 March 2011

Five village run!

Nine miles this morning.

Boughton, Walesby, Kirton, Wellow and Ollerton.

Now for some breakfast.

Slowly

Starting to feel better, my legs have felt tired all week. Though I have managed a couple of gym sessions I am hoping to get a run on Sunday morning.

Got to seriously start upping my mileage from now on.
