Running magazines!

I used to buy 'Runner's World' but after a while they are basically recyling the same articles. Have found a good mag though 'Outdoor Fitness' good articles and so many things I really want to do.

So if you are writing that bucket list then check it out for great adventures.

2012 is pretty much sorted for me what with the London marathon & the Para 10 but 2013 I am excited already.

Might do Notts! (marathon)

Why not? Hopefully it won't clash too much with the Para 10 which is after the London marathon my main focus for 2012!

It is my home city of which I am very proud to come from and so must complete the marathon at some point and I am not getting any younger, only better looking :))

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

Different route!

Perfect weather for a race however after the first kilometre we turned left instead of right!! It was a different route and I think better. Not as muddy and easier to pass people. My time was just over 48 minutes not too bad but I felt I was going faster. Nice technical t-shirt for all finishers in a very fetching red.

Congratulations to my friend Jordan who completed her second ever 10k in just over 1 hour 4 minutes, a half marathon next:)

So home in time for the mighty Notts County on the TV away at Sutton Utd.

cheers

One of my favourites!

Tomorrow is the Edwinstowe 10k will be my third time running this race and it is definitely one of my favourites. Although every time I run it I have a cold and it is the same this year. Still I am hoping to improve on my pb and get under 49 minutes!

My best time for the distance (10k) is just over 45 minutes, Edwinstowe is a trail race and can be muddy, icy or both. This year I think it will be muddy and windy. So it is out with the trail shoes my faithful Adidas Kanadia's.

Got to pick my number up first I am no.658. So will watch 'Match of the Day' and then an early night. Looking forward to the race.
