Two Marathons!

Thinking of doing two marathons next year!

Need a challenge, so I am looking at the White Peak Marathon in May and Nottingham in September.

So the earliest I can enter the better as I need a goal and a target.

The goal = two marathons.

The target = under four hours.

There it's out on the web now, I am committed to two marathons!!!!

BBRRRRRR!!! It's cold!!

Did five miles last night and was it cold?

YES, very!

Think it's time to dig out the running tights.

Felt pretty good all the way round so hopefully Clowne should be ok. The weather looks pretty bad today so I think it may be the gym tonight.

Need to get in a long one in at the weekend ten plus miles just for piece of mind really I am pretty sure I am fit enough. Just struggling with the cold weather now that I am older I really hate the winter.Never used to bother me!

Being broke!

I have missed out on the Edwinstowe Christmas 10k this year, it is full and if the Bolsover one fills up before pay day I will miss out on that one as well.

Raining!

Three weeks to go until Clowne!

Need to get some more miles in my old legs.

Hopefully the weather will improve I just want it to stop raining. Nothing at all planned this week apart from training. Tonight the plan is a five mile run then some weights at the gym and a nice long sauna.

Oh, and back home in time for 'Robson Greene's Extreme Fishing'.

My life is one non stop paaaarrrrtttyyyy!!!

It's raining!

And I really can't be bothered getting wet.

But the plan is a 5 mile run tonight.

So tune in tomorrow to see if I got wet or bottled it and stayed at home.

Time to refocus!

5 miles on Saturday and 8.5 miles on Sunday.

Four weeks to go until the Clowne half!

So no more drinking and lots of training. Am a bit sore today but am off to the gym for some weights and speed training.

Got to stay focused!
